Steps Options

Ladder option: price touching higher ladder tiers during the term locks in bigger payouts. Settlement uses the highest tier touched. Fixed premium, known risk.

Steps is a ladder option. You select a ladder of price tiers, and during the option term the price path is monitored for touches. At expiry, settlement is based on the highest tier the price touched — deeper tiers pay progressively more.

Because any touched tier counts, Steps rewards strong directional moves even when the price later pulls back. Maximum loss is the fixed premium.
